Nursing Tybalt Productions, in partnership with Wonder Worthy Productions, recently announced that their film, “Ben & Ara,” is slated to start production in Liberty County in October.
The film explores a romance that sparks between an African-Muslim woman and an agnostic man as they complete their doctorates in philosophy.
“We don’t often see films that cross racial, cultural and religious lines,” producer Samone Norsworthy said. “This film does it effortlessly. It’s a powerful story that’s going touch so many people. The Georgia filmmaking community has really gotten behind it.”
Among the cast are Michael Chieffo (“L.A. Confidential,” “Argo,” “Mad Men”), Ben Youcef (“Munich,” “NCIS”) and Mohamed Dione
