The Long County Middle School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America hosted the Miss Walker Elementary and Miss Long County Middle School pageants Oct. 17.
Twenty-four contestants competed for the title of Miss Long County Middle School and the winners were Emily Golden, third runner-up; Lexi Rowland, first runner-up; Ainsley Dawson, Miss Long County Middle School; Brianna Lord, second runner-up; Cynthia Strout, people’s choice; McKenzie Wygant, most sponsors.
Thirteen contestants competed for the title of Miss Walker Elementary School and the winners were Samantha Pitts, first runner-up; Erin Gibson, people’s choice; Isabella Head, second runner-up; Marissa Wilcox, Miss Walker Elementary; Carly Semour, third runner-up and Zseniyah Lindquist, most sponsors.
All money raised will help send FBLA students to compete in the Georgia FBLA Region 3 competition in Savannah and the Georgia FBLA State competition in Perry.
