The Hinesville Area Arts Council will host an art exhibit for March, titled "A Touch of Whimsy." An opening and free reception will be from 5:30-7 p.m. March 8 at The Gallery at 102 Commerce St., Hinesville.

The exhibit will feature local artist and SCAD graduate Emily Carrier, who is returning for her second exhibit at the gallery.

The exhibit will include illustrations by Carrier, a children’s book artist, in the form of traditional media, with some works digitally colored to simulate the look of traditional media.
