Play here carries message about violence

“Bang Bang You’re Dead,” a play written in 1998 by William Mastrossimone after a school shooting in Oregon, will be staged at Liberty County YMCA gym four times; 5:45 p.m. Friday, 2:45 p.m. Saturday and 2:45 p.m. Jan., 30. Presented by Stage 2140 Productions, it raises awareness of school violence.

Admission costs $7 or $7 worth of nonperishable food items. It is not appropriate for kids younger than 12.
