Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

 

Wow, do people realize dogs have litters every six months and cats more often. If your dog has five puppies, and they have five puppies, and they have puppies ... Well I guess you get the idea. Spay and neuter your pets, or just don’t get them.

With the tightening of Georgia budget and every thing, and our school board along with the military are going ahead with plans to build a new middle school. They need to cease that operation immediately. Our taxes will go up, even if they cut spending because they are spending millions.

Let the thieves be warned. Look at the gun shops where people are getting guns. It’s like shoot now and ask questions later. We need to put a stop on this and neighbors have to help.

As I was reading the paper this morning about the tax increase and the timing of the budget that we won’t have a say in local taxes, and yet our school board is continuing with building a new school. They need to stop and look at alternatives.
