Here are some of the issues that area residents are discussing. The statements were phoned in anonymously, so the Courier does  not vouch for their veracity, nor do we know what motivated the callers:

I cannot believe that the citizens of Hinesville are stupid enough to elect all of the incumbents. Sounds a little fishy to me. I think someone needs to get in touch with the state and have this election checked.

Those crossing guards are doing their jobs. All those buses are run on a schedule, not your schedule, but on bus-run schedule. More than one runs to other schools on time. You would be furious if your child wasn’t picked up on time. Life isn’t all about you. You change your ways and time.

Please bring the mobile food unit down to Midway. There are a lot of people who don’t even have gas money to get to Hinesville, and they need more people coming into Midway. These people are really poor, some of them.
