Bring a cotton T-shirt to this event and create art you can wear. Space is limited and registration is required. For ages 5 and up.

Beading Jewelry

Join the Liberty Branch Library for a craft class. Learn the peyote beading stitch and use it to create bracelets. The program should last a little over an hour, and the class will be limited to 15 participants. Registration is required. For ages 10 and up.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears with Cassandra Lamar and Jer Udvadia Songs and a puppet show. For ages 5 and up.

Cartooning
June 26 at 7 p.m.

A Manga Madness Cartooning workshop with Mike Edge is planned. Teens will spend 90 minutes recreating themselves into popular anime/comic superheroes. A graphic illustrator, Edge instructs. Class size is limited to 15 students and registration is required. Sign up early. This one will fill up quickly. For ages 12 and up.

Tea & Tales Book Group at the Midway-Riceboro Branch Library to meet. This book discussion group meets at the Midway-Riceboro Library every three weeks on Thursday at 5:30 p.m On June 21, there will be a discussion of, “The Closers” by Michael Connelly. Introduction to Excel (Liberty): An introductory class in this popular spreadsheet program will be offered at 7 p.m.  June 12. Learn how to create a simple spreadsheet and add graphs. Prerequisite: Introduction to Word or similar skills. Call 368-4003 to register.

Introduction to Publisher (Liberty): A course on the desktop publishing program, Microsoft Publisher will be offered at 7 p.m. June 19. Learn to create newsletters, calendars and more. Prerequisite: Intermediate Word or similar skills. To register, call the library at 368-4003.
