Fort Stewart pageant seeking contestants

The first Fort Stewart Southern Miss Pageant is set for Feb. 15 and organizers are recruiting contestants.
The pageant is open to girls age 0-24, who are soldiers as well as daughters, wives and granddaughters of military members. Winners will receive crowns and sashes, and will be eligible for the Georgia Southern Miss State Scholarship Pageant. The winner’s entry fee also will be paid.
There are seven age divisions.
Mandatory contests include most photogenic, swimwear, interview and modeling. Optional contests include prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, prettiest smile, prettiest face, prettiest dress and prettiest walk.
The contestant with the most peoples’ choice votes will be crowned Fort Stewart Southern Miss Ambassador and she also will be eligible to compete at the state pageant and have her entry fee paid.
