The Holiday Tree Lighting set for 5:15 p.m. Dec. 2 at Club Stewart is one of several Fort Stewart has planned for the holidays.
The tree lighting on Hunter Arm Airfield will be at 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the Hunter Club.
Songs by local choirs and the audience singing “Here Comes Santa” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” will fill the air.

Attractions inside and outside the clubs promise to help make the evening enjoyable. Inside the clubs, decorated especially for the occasion, Santa will listen to the children’s wish lists and have his photo taken with them. Parents can take their own photos or buy some made by a photographer.
Outside, there will be horse-drawn carriage rides, face-painting, rides on the popular Family and MWR miniature train, entertainment and a cookie tent. Holiday movies will be shown.
At each post, activities are scheduled to end at 8 p.m.
