RICHMOND HILL — Indie artists The Cries Of and Tyler Melashenko will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Coastal Community Christian Church in Richmond Hill. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission will be one non-perishable food item for The Way Station food bank in Richmond Hill.
The Cries Of is the acoustic folk music project of Pat Douglas, a musician from Panama City, Fla. His most recent CD release is “Hide and Seek for Six” (Branch Records, 2009). Melashenko, 23, is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. He lives in Chattanooga, Tenn.
