Fort King George State Historic Site will have a Scottish heritage day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 20. The site is at 302 McIntosh Road in Darien.
The program will include several demonstrations on pioneer skills, artillery and musket drills, Scottish cooking, music and dance, crafts, Highland weapons, 18th century merchants, Native Americans and more. There will be a battle re-enactment at 2 p.m. Musket raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each.
