Student productions at Armstrong

SAVANNAH - The Armstrong Atlantic State University Department of Art, Music and Theatre student theatre troupe, the Masquers, presents "New Voices," a variety of comedic and dramatic scenes in four performances only Jan. 31 to Feb. 3 in the Masquers Chinese Theater.
Thursday through Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday's matinee begins at 3 p.m.
"New Voices" gives local writers a chance to display their work on stage. This production is student produced, directed and performed. This is the second year the Masquers have produced "New Voices."
AASU Jenkins Theater, home to the Masquers troupe for more than four decades, is being renovated and is scheduled to reopen in spring 2009. The temporary home for the Masquers theatre troupe is the Masquers Chinese Theater in Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn St.
Admission is free, but seating is limited and early arrival is recommended. The box office opens an hour prior to showtime. Audience discretion is advised. Not recommended for children. Call 927-5381 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, for information.
