The fourth annual Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale will be March 14-16 along U.S. Highway 341, the Golden Isles Parkway in Georgia.
The 212-mile yard sale will link peach-growing counties in middle Georgia to the beaches of Georgia's Golden Isles, with community sites in 20 cities and towns and individual sales along the way.  Participating communities include Culloden, Roberta, Fort Valley, Perry, Hawkinsville, Eastman, Helena, McRae, Lumber City, Hazelhurst, Graham, Baxley, Surrency, Odum, Jesup, Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island.
In Brunswick, the event will be in the Mary Ross Waterfront Park downtown on March 15 only from 8 am to 5 pm.  This is a great opportunity to clean out those closets and attics and make a little money.  It is also a perfect place for organizations to help their fundraising by having not only yard sale items, but local arts and crafts, bake sale items, and anything in between. In addition to the yard sale, a designated area will be set up for food vendors and antique dealers.
Shoppers throughout the state are being encouraged through the official Peaches to the Beaches website (www.goldenislesparkway.com) to shop all along Highway 341 on Friday, March 14, and then head down to the "beaches" on Saturday to buy locally on March 15 only. Official sites will also be located on St. Simons Island at the Pier Village (sidewalk sales) and on Jekyll Island at the Convention Center.
