The council provides an interchange on issues relating to the cemeteries and allows former residents of the area to gather and visit with one another and recall the history from that time period. Other community groups from area churches, schools, colleges, clubs and senior citizens organizations are encouraged to participate in this event.
The public is invited to participate in the visit. Please call the Public Affairs Office by Nov. 13 at (912) 767-5687 or (912) 767-1145 to confirm attendance. Registration for the tour will begin at 9 a.m. at the pass and permit office.
