Wal-Mart campaign raises donations

Recipients: Jordan Struble and Bert Weese accepted a check for Liberty County High School sports, and commander Garlon Penland and past district Commander Paul Smith on behalf of Disabled American Veterans Hinesville Chapter 46. The DAV also gave a plaque to the employees of Wal-Mart as a token of appreciation. The Vietnam Veterans of America Hinesville Chapter 789 received a matching-funds check that was accepted by the organization’s vice president, Jimmy Waynick, and Angel Sanabria, Harvey Stokes and Bob Wolford. Hinesville Wal-Mart Store Manager Wally Davison and store associates recently showed their support for the community by issuing checks totaling $10,150 to various charities and organizations during the past five months through their community grants programs.
