When Hurricane Irma threatened our community, employees of Canoochee EMC rose to the task. They prepared their line trucks, hunkered down during the hardest of winds and once the storm subsided, their work was underway. From Savannah to Vidalia in the west and points north from Pooler south to Wayne County, one-by-one, these workers cut away downed trees, cleared areas and restored light to darkened communities.
