Care center celebrates opening

South Georgia Immediate Care Center hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration Dec. 1 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Brian Kornblatt, president and CEO of Georgia Immediate Associates, welcomed elected city officials, patients, chamber staff, ambassadors, members and people from the community.
“We are thrilled to be operating within such a dynamic community,” Kornblatt said. 
He went on to thank the community leaders and the staff members for their dedication and support, specifically naming Theresa Summers as the main coordinator in constructing the facility. 
South Georgia Immediate Care Center, at 780 E. Oglethorpe Highway, offers support in patient and employer services.
“Thank you for choosing Hinesville for your new location,” Hinesville Mayor Pro Tem Charles Frasier said. “We look forward to supporting you in any way we can.”
“We welcome you to the chamber,” said Kevin Thomas, chairman of the chamber board of directors. “We are here to support you in any way we can.”
The Hinesville location is open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome.
