The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce had its annual awards banquet Jan. 20 at Fort Stewart’s Club Stewart. The following business and entrepreneurs were recognized for their efforts in 2010:   
• Business leader of the year: Robert Stokes, Georgia Power Company
• Civic leader of the year: Deidre Howell, Liberty County Health Department
• Self-employed business of the year: Vivian Smith, $20 & Below Accessories
• Business of the year, 2-15 employees: Strategic Business Solutions
• Business of the year, 16-35 employees: Poole’s Deli
• Business of the year, 35+ employees: Target
• Small business Windex award: Southeast Auto Service
• Large business Windex award: Mike Reed Chevrolet
• Ambassador of the year: Felicia Boatwright-Beach, Strategic Business Solutions
“It was an honor to be named the 2010 ambassador of the year. Many thanks to the chamber and supporting members who have showered me with prizes valued at about $500. I’ve had an awesome time as an ambassador for the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. My passion has always been to help others. This experience has really blessed me to meet so many wonderful business men and women in Liberty County,” Boatwright-Beach said.
