Chamber honors YALL graduates

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce recently recognized members of the 2016-17 graduating class of Young Adult Liberty Leaders.
They are seniors Jamison Golson, Trayvon Harris, Joshua Ingram, Cailin Ingram, Zahnay Smoak, Genesis Maldonado-Matos, Nathan Wallace,

DeAngela Williams, Easteria Brown, Breanna Knott, Cameron Reese, Alex Fernandez and Donte Braxton; and juniors DeQuan Styles and Christopher Schultz.
Members of the tenth YALL graduating class were celebrated during a graduation banquet on May 19 at the Liberty College and Career Academy. The guest speakers were Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette, and Nick Westbrook, owner/operator of Chick-fil-A Hinesville.

Fifteen juniors and seniors from Liberty County’s high schools completed the nine-month leadership course, gaining knowledge about city and county government, law enforcement, public education, public health, economic development and tourism. Students also participated in volunteer projects with Keep Liberty Beautiful, the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, and other organizations.
