The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Taste of Liberty will be Thursday, Jan. 25.
It is a one-night spotlight on what’s cooked in the area and traditionally is combined with the Chamber’s Annual Banquet. It will feature local restaurants, caterers and more sampling their best dishes, as well as music and a wine auction.
The 2018 Taste of Liberty is an opportunity for individual businesses to sample items that make their menus interesting, as well as an opportunity to expose their business and services.
"Always one of my personal favorite events because who doesn’t love sampling a little bit of everything our lovely Liberty has to offer," Chamber/CVB CEO Leah Poole, said.
The banquet is when the annual business leader of the year, civic leader of the year, and business of the year are honored.
The community nominates chamber businesses and chamber community members and the winning awards are announced at the banquet. Chamber board officers and board members will also be inducted.
The cost to attend the banquet/tasting is $30 per member or $55 per couple. RSVP by Jan. 22 close of business, by calling 912-368-4445 or emailing operations@libertycounty.org. Late RSVPs are subject to a $5 upcharge and a $10 upcharge for anyone who attends without a reservation.
Businesses may apply to participate in the tasting by submitting the 2018 Taste of Liberty Application to the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce at director@libertycounty.org.
