Independent Avon representative Eileen Perry hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony May 19 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. Perry welcomed chamber staff, board members and ambassadors to the event, which was held at Main Street Park. Perry has been a representative of Avon for 25 years.
“I remember the days when I went door to door and we had territories,” Perry said.
Chamber Membership Director Kirsten Pratt welcomed Perry to the growing family of businesses in the chamber.
Avon has been empowering women for 125 years, Perry told those present. She said Avon offers women the opportunity to be CEOs of their own businesses and control their economic destinies, which was something that appealed to her.
