DJJ sets Hinesville recruiting fair
arrest record

The Department of Juvenile Justice will make a recruiting run through 14 Georgia communities in April in search of qualified candidates for employment at DJJ secure facilities.

One of those fairs, in Hinesville, is for college students only. It is set for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 21 at Savannah Technical College’s Liberty Campus, 100 Tech Drive.

Career fair locations and times may change, or additional career fair dates may be added.  Applicants should check the DJJ website for schedule changes at www.djjcareers.org before visiting a DJJ job fair.

Candidates for juvenile corrections officer positions should bring copies of certain documents to the interview.

There is no charge for participation at juvenile corrections career fairs.  DJJ recruiters are authorized to interview qualified candidates on the spot for new correctional officer opportunities.  Applicants should bring their résumés and come dressed for job interviews.

Interested job seekers can go to www.djjcareers.org for more information about career opportunities in juvenile corrections and a complete list of documents to bring to the recruiting fair.
