Hobby Lobby gets official welcome

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon cutting March 13 for Hobby Lobby in Oglethorpe Square Shopping Center, 863 W. Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville.

Store Manager Reggie Gadson welcomed everyone to the grand opening and introduced chamber/CVB CEO Leah Poole. Poole expressed excitement for the new store on behalf of the chamber board and staff.

Mayor Allen Brown congratulated Gadson and welcomed him to Hinesville. Brown said the community had been excited about the opening for months. Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette thanked Gadson for coming to Hinesville and helping its economic growth. He wished Gadson well on the success of this business.

"We are really thrilled and ready to serve the community," Gadson said.

He also thanked the chamber.

"We appreciate you taking the time to help us make our entrance into the community," he said.

Hobby Lobby is primarily an arts-and-crafts store but also includes hobbies, picture framing, jewelry making, fabrics, floral and wedding supplies, cards, party ware, baskets, wearable art, home accents and holiday merchandise.
