Amedisys, which offers home health-care services to surrounding communities, hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting Dec. 13 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.
The event was held at its office on 513 W. Oglethorpe Highway — in the shopping plaza with Save-a-Lot and Bealls — in celebration of its membership with the chamber and the opening of the new location in Hinesville.
Director of Operations Denise Hockensmith and Operations Manager Vicki Block welcomed employees, chamber staff, ambassadors, members and people from the community.
“We are truly honored to provide quality service to our surrounding community. We take great pride in the services offered here at Amedisys,” account executive Carl Russel said.
He went on to thank the staff members for their dedication to the company’s mission. He specifically thanked Becky Spell, care transition coordinator, for her efforts in planning the ceremony.
Amedisys offers nursing, home health aides, rehab specialty programs, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social workers and chronic care programs.
“Welcome to the chamber family. We are here to support you in any way we can,” chamber board member Barbara Martin said.
