The Liberty County Development Authority recently had a two-day planning session to discuss short and long-term goals. The session was at the Centergy building in Atlanta, which houses the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the economic development arms of Georgia EMC, Georgia Power and the Electric Cities of Georgia.
Georgia EMC supplied transportation for the board to and from Atlanta, hosted most of the session in its office and provided a facilitator.
During the planning session, the board also visited Georgia Power’s Georgia resource center and received an economic development overview from representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Georgia Power.
