The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon April 26 at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center on 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Flemington.

The luncheon will feature Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown’s State of the City address. The address will focus on Hinesville’s current and future fiscal outlook and opportunities for growth.

The luncheon will take place during Georgia Cities Week, which will be held from April 22-28. Georgia Cities Week celebrates community achievements, recognizes volunteers, city employees and encourages cities to educate citizens about the services they offer that improves quality of life.

The cost to attend is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members. The luncheon is sponsored by ESG Operations Inc.
