Alice & Mary Wonderland Preschool Learning Center in Midway hosted a ribbon-cutting and grand-opening ceremony Aug. 9 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.
Owner Mary Scott welcomed Mayor Clemontine Washington and other Midway officials, chamber staff, board members, ambassadors and residents.
“I feel very blessed to have everyone celebrating with me today,” Scott said. “I am thankful to have joined the chamber. I wish I had joined sooner.”
She went on to explain that her facility caters to a variety of children’s age groups, including infants and elementary students in after-school care.
Alice & Mary Wonderland is a learning center for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Classes are kept to a low student-teacher ratio to produce happy, intelligent, well-adjusted children, Scott said.
The center’s teachers and staff are committed to working within each child’s comfort zone to ensure social, emotional and educational results, she added.
“We are grateful for your business and we welcome you to the chamber and the city of Midway,” Washington said.
The learning center is at 10408 East Oglethorpe Highway.
