Gata’s Sports Bar & Grille, Hinesville’s newest restaurant and nightspot, will have its grand opening on June 7.

After a soft launch in January, Gata’s is now promoting its presence here. It is in the old  Buffalo’s at 811 Highway 196 W.

From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. customers may eat at a hot dog/nacho bar, indulge on signature drinks and enjoy music courtesy of I95 Rock. There will be drawings for $50 gift cards and family-friendly activities throughout the day. A suggested donation will be collected at the door to benefit the local chapter of Operation Homefront.

Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors.
Named after one of iconic Georgia Southern coach Erk Russell’s mottos, Gata’s focus is on being a sports bar and restaurant. It often features live entertainment, beer pong tournaments and karaoke. In addition, every Monday 10 percent of sales are donated to the Fallen Heroes fund.
