The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon Thursday, Aug. 6, at Connection Church on Patriots Trail in Flemington.

The event is sponsored by AT&T and Point University.

The luncheon will feature Dr. Valya Lee, Liberty County School superintendent, as the guest speaker.

The topic of her talk will be the state of the Liberty County School System at the end of school year 2014-15 and the direction for the upcoming school year.
