VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Liberty Tax Service, which has a Hinesville branch, recently was recognized for its franchise opportunities when the company was ranked on three business lists: Entrepreneur magazine’s “Franchise 500” list; Black Enterprise’s“40 Best Franchises for African Americans” list; and Poder’s “Top 25 Franchise Opportunities for Hispanics” list.
“It is our goal to continue to offer an affordable chance at the American dream of business ownership to all enterprising persons who are ready to embrace our proven Liberty operating system and be aggressive competitors in this industry,” Liberty Tax Service CEO and founder John Hewitt said.
Liberty Tax Service is the top tax franchise opportunity on Entrepreneur’s “Franchise 500” list.
Additionally, the company is the only tax service included on Poder magazine’s (formerly Hispanic Enterprise magazine’s) list of the “Top 25 Franchise Opportunities for Hispanics” in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.
In 2004, Liberty Tax Service launched a Hispanic services division to provide better communications, understanding and customer service to customers in its existing and emerging Hispanic communities across the United States.
Franchise owners are trained to cover issues that pertain to Hispanic taxpayers and to assist clients with navigating through the steps of the federal tax-filing system.
Black Enterprise magazine named Liberty Tax Service as one of the most affordable and best franchise opportunities for minorities for a sixth time since 2001.
“B.E.’s “40 Best Franchises for African Americans” named Liberty Tax a top choice for a business-services franchise, according to the September 2010 issue.
Black Enterprise researches franchise opportunities annually to compile a superlative list for its readers of the best franchises for African-Americans and to measure the pulse of the franchise industry.
In addition, Liberty Tax is ranked a “Top 100” franchise for minorities by the World Franchising Network.
