The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau has hired Erin Johnson as creative and content coordinator.

This position is new, and Johnson will be responsible for the creation of social media content, ad design, assisting with marketing and various other creative ventures.

“We are very excited to bring Erin on board at the CVB,” LCCVB CEO Leah Poole said. “Her work ethic was a huge benefit to the (Liberty County) chamber (of commerce), and I’m confident that the knowledge she gained from her position there will benefit the CVB.”

Johnson, a Liberty County native, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Science from the University of Georgia. Upon graduating college she married a soldier and moved to Oregon. She returned in 2014 and was hired at the chamber as interim membership director, and later became the office manager. Following a maternity leave, she will now be working with the LCCVB.

“I’m excited to start this new adventure with the CVB,” Johnson said. “I look forward to working on some creative projects that will promote the growth of tourism in Liberty County.”
