Visitor's bureau hires program assistant

The Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau recently announced the appointment of Brian Hulsey as its program assistant.
“We are pleased to welcome Brian as he brings considerable experience, talent and energy to our team,” Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Leah Poole said.
Hulsey will be responsible for soliciting grants, maintaining the CVB website and coordinating media efforts.
By developing marketing programs and events that attract visitors and stimulate economic development and growth, he will help to establish Liberty County as a recognized tourist destination.
Before joining the bureau, Hulsey worked in the electronic resources/systems office of the Schwob Memorial Library at Columbus State University. While employed there, he administered the library’s websites, wrote grant proposals for technology application and managed thousands of databases. He also worked with other departments to highlight collaborative efforts across the university.
Hulsey is an avid runner and cyclist and participates in the Liberty County Run Group and Fort Stewart Cycling.
