Youth leaders get a lesson in economic development

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce 2016-2017 Young Adult Liberty Leaders class had an economic development session on April 12, hosted by the Liberty County Development Authority.

The students met with the authority members and staff to learn about economic development in the county. Class members toured various industries throughout the county, such as SNF Holding Company and ELAN Technology.

YALL is a nine-month class, in which participants meet at least once a month to hear about various functions of the community, including county and city government, public health, education, tourism, development and more.
