City council honors HPD’s active shooter responders

Hinesville City Council recognized Hinesville Police Department officers who assisted and participated in quelling an active shooter incident August 6 on Fort Stewart.

 Just before 11 a.m. that day, HPD officers responded to the installation’s request for mutual aid on an active shooter. 

Recognized were Jeffrey Jessen, Jonathan Santiago, Calah Colvin, Jose Rivera, Tony Mitchner, George Floyd, Gregory Lachowsky, Jeffrey Lui, Kawanna Roberts, Darnell Singleton, Todd Parmentier, Ainslie Lynch, Michael Ramirez, Gregory Joseph, Scott Mercer, Gianni Wong, Timothy Conley, James Riddick and Josiah Pike.
