ATLANTA - to be eligible for the President's List at Georgia State University, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 4.0 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

DAHLONEGA - More than 100 military awards and scholarships were presented to University of North Georgia cadets at the March Military Awards Ceremony and a pair of April events during Alumni Weekend.
Cadets were presented with awards and scholarships for academic achievement, potential for leadership, and high moral character.
Cadet Andrew Norton from Midway received the Colonel James T. Palmer Cadet Scholarship and American Legion Dept. of GA/Jep Tanksley Scholarship Fund.

DALTON - Dione Breland of Hinesville has been named to Dalton State College's Spring 2025 Part-time Dean's List.
Breland was among 737 students named to the part-time Dean's List.
The Dean's List recognizes students who achieved a grade point average of 3.5 - 3.99 while taking 6 -11 credit hours during the academic semester.
