H+STEM EVENT

The National Museum of the mighty Eighth Air Force is hosting a H+STEM Event on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Titled “Factories to the Front Lines” this event focuses on women and children’s supporting and leading roles during World War II. This event offers multiple hands-on stations including crafting and baking along with a presentation by Lt. Colonel Amy Grey. Open to children 6 – 15 the cost is $5.00 per person, free for museum members. The Mayor and Fire Committee of the City of Flemington will conduct a work session on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 beginning at 2:00 p.m. The purpose of the Work Session is to discuss equipment and expenses. Interested persons are invited to attend at Flemington City Hall, which is located at 156 Old Sunbury Rd.

 Bethel AME Church Citizens Relying on Spiritual Servants (CROSS) C.R.O.S.S. in conjunction with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Savannah are open to those in need on the 4th Saturday of every month. Food Bags will be given out from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

C.R.O.S.S. has a clothing ministry giveaway on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. The ministry is open from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
