The Liberty County Emergency Management Agency is inviting individuals from across the county to participate in an Initial Planning Meeting for the development of the Disaster Recovery and Redevelopment Plan for Liberty County.

The meeting will be broken into morning and afternoon sessions. In the morning, you will have the opportunity to review the results of the resilience assessment and identify recommendations for making Liberty County more resilient before and after a disaster. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to identify priorities for Recovery Support Functions throughout the recovery process.

This plan will outline Liberty County’s strategy for recovering from and rebuilding after a disaster. You or your organization has been identified as a critical stakeholder that plays a vital role in Liberty County’s ability to recover from disasters.

The meeting will take place Thursday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the East End Complex, 9397 East Oglethorpe Highway in Midway.
