2008 Sea Camp gets under way

Tybee Island Marine Science Center is preparing to hold its 2008 Sea Camp, which will include hands-on and interactive learning activities.  Campers will experience multi-sensory learning adventures on the beach and in the science center, and develop science skills during exploration of the coastal environment. Classes are available for campers from pre-k through fifth grade. Call 786-5917 or go to www.tybeemarinescience.org for more information.

Aug. 11-15, 10-11:30 a.m.: Sea Squirts

Upcoming first- and second-graders, 5-day camp (M-F):
June 23-28, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: It's a Small World
July 7-11, 2-4 p.m.: Peanut Butter and Jellyfish
July 21-25, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Sea-sational Science
July 28-Aug. 1, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Sea Camp Junior

*4-day week due to July 4th holiday

Sea Camp 2008 fees are as follows:
3-day camp: $75 non-member, $50 member
5-day camp: $100 non-member, $80 member
