The following events are for youth who will be in fifth, sixth or seventh grade next school. The number of children who can participate is limited, so register early so you can secure a spot.
Nuts About Nutrition, June 2-4. Liberty County Extension Office from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Deadline to register: May 29. Lunch provided. Size limited to 15. Cost: 25.
Basics of Babysitting, June 10-12. Liberty County Extension Office 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Deadline to register: June 6. Bring sack lunch. Size limited to 20. Cost: $20.
Scrap Booking/Sewing Crafts, June 24-27. Liberty County Extension Office 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Deadline to register: June 2. Bring sack lunch. Size limited to 20 Cost: $25.
Summer Waves, Jekyll Island, June 5. Leave Liberty County Extension Office at 8 a.m., return at 4:30 p.m. Deadline to register: May 30. Cost: $30 includes entrance to park, transportation and lunch. Bring extra money for souvenirs. Trip limited to 40.
Wild Adventures, Valdosta, Aug. 1. Leave Liberty County Extension Office at 7 a.m. and return 7 p.m. Deadline to register: July 25. Cost: $48 includes entrance into the park, transportation and lunch. Bring extra money for dinner on the way home and souvenirs. Trip limited to 40.
