Valdosta State dean’s list
VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University has announced the names of more than 1,700 spring 2015 students who earned dean’s list status. Students who achieve a semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade-point average of 3.0 or higher are recognized by being placed on the dean’s list.

Cooks makes dean’s list at UCM
WARRENSBURG, Mo. —  Ja’Shonae Cooks of Hinesville earned a place on the spring 2015 semester dean’s list at University of Central Missouri. Cooks’ academic work earned her a place on the 3.5 to 3.99 grade-point average list.

Georgia State announces president’s, dean’s lists
ATLANTA — Georgia State University recently released its president’s and dean’s lists for spring
2015 semester.

To be eligible for the president’s list, students must earn a 4.0 grade-point average for the semester and complete at least nine semester hours of academic credit with no incompletes.

MACON — The following area residents graduated from Mercer University during the university’s spring commencements:
