BI team performs well at literary meets

Bradwell Institute placed second in the March 13 Region Literary Meet at Savannah Arts Academy.
Results
• First place, girls essay and girls extemporaneous speaking: Natalie Sharp
• First place, boys essay: Jeffery Silvey
• First place, girls trio: Cassidy Bird, Brittani Ford and Georgina Smith
• Second place, boys quartet: Trevon Hicks, Sam Powers, Devon Roberts and Evan Crowther
• Second place, solo: Sam Powers and Brittani Ford
• Second place, dramatic interpretation and extemporaneous speaking: Shakur Freeney
Two BI students also placed at the state literary meet March 20 in Warner Robins.

The girls trio was unable to perform at the state meet because one contestant was ill and had no voice.
