Blue Tide juniors and seniors gathered last weekend for the 2011 Long County High School Prom, which was themed “Masquerade.”
Early in the evening, teens dressed in tuxedos and evening gowns posed for photos before heading to the high school gymnasium, where the dance kicked off at 7 p.m. Just before 10 p.m., parents dropped by to watch their children make the senior walk.
After the walk, the junior prince and princess, Tyler Clark and Taylor Harrison, and the prom king and queen, Nick Moody and Kayla Mills, were crowned. Following the crowning, the teens moved back to the dance floor, where they continued to celebrate until midnight, and parents headed home.
