The deadline for five different contests to promote participation in the 2010 Census is today.
The contests aim at children with prizes ranging from gift cards at the GameStop to a Nintendo DS Lite to a Cycle Force Flicker Scooter. They are sponsored by Liberty County office promoting the 2010 Census and run through the schools.
They include a poster contest for third-fifth graders, a color contest for kindergarten-second graders. A cartoon contest for middle schoolers and a cartoon strip contest for high school students.
