Lewis Frasier Middle School teacher Carol Corwin has received a $75,000 grant for a “model” technology classroom, providing laptop computers for students, a “smart” interactive white board, a digital camera, and other technology for her sixth-grade class. The grant funds training for math and special education teachers. The use of Smartboard technology in the classes is a powerful tool, LFMS parent involvement facilitator Annie McCray said, noting the school board has added funding for Smartboards in each class.
