Hank White Scholarships up for grabs

Organizers of the annual Henry “Hank” White Memorial Scholarships have announced that seven $1,000 scholraships will be granted this year.

They are available for:

• First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church seniors. Two $1,000 scholarships; applications available at the church. First Calvary students are not eligible for any other Henry “Hank” White Scholarship.

• Bradwell Institute senior. Two $1,000 scholarships; applications available in the guidance office.

• Liberty County High School senior. Two $1,000 scholarships; applications available in the guidance office.

• Community. Undergraduate Liberty County resident; one $1,000 scholarship; application available at Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center at 425 W. Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville.

Applicants must write an essay and submit two letters of recommendation with the application. The postmark deadline is April 25.
