STATESBORO -- A Hinesville student was among more than 140 Georgia Southern University students recognized at the annual Honors Day ceremony recently.
Japheth Parker of Hinesville received the Excellent Scholarship Graduating Senior Award.
"It is our distinct pleasure to recognize Georgia Southern University's best and brightest students," university President Bruce Grube said. "The annual Honors Day Convocation is our way of showing these students and their families how much we appreciate their efforts and how much we value their contributions to the University."
