Libraries have events planned for holidays

The Live Oak Public Library’s Liberty branch will offer a variety of activities for children and adults this holiday season. The upcoming events and programs will include:
• Preschool story time at 10:30 a.m. every Monday for children ages 3-4.
This program features a story and simple art activities.
• Tree tots story time at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday for children ages 1-2.
The library will have age-appropriate stories, finger plays, songs and more.
• How to start your own business, 1 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Hinesville branch.
This mini-seminar goes over the basics of starting a business. Discover what the library has to offer in the way of resources and databases.
• Gingerbread cookie decorating bash, 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Liberty branch, and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Midway-Riceboro branch.
Come for an hour of family fun.  Listen to gingerbread tales and make your own edible gingerbread creations.  For ages 3 and older with the family.
