Local leaders celebrate Georgia Pre-K Week
Al Williams and Andew Keay 4
State Rep. Al Williams, D-Midway, smiles next to student Andrew Keay, 4, after reading Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons by Eric Litwin to a prekindergarten class Monday at Westwood Day Care and Pre-School Learning Center for Georgia Pre-K Week 2015. Williams said he reads to students every year and its a lot of fun. It becomes a part of you. I love storytelling. My mother was a primary, third-grade teacher most of her career, and I always had her reading to me and my brothers and sisters. I gotta give back, Williams said. - photo by Tiffany King
