From the freshmen class, Mary Moses, Ashley Murphy and Raven Rose were nominated. Laura Clary, Trynina Harris and Kalyne Knudson where chosen from the sophomore class.
Junior class nominees are Ariel Davis, Kayla Mills, and Shelby Mock. The queen will be selected from senior nominees Jessica Bryant, Ebony Hill, LaShana Howard, Kelly Long and Skylar Ogden.
One girl from each of the underclasses will be selected to serve as a princess on the court. The queen will be crowned at halftime during Friday’s football game.
This week, student will celebrate spirit week by wearing themed clothes each day.
There’s no school Monday, but Tuesday’s theme is “blast from the past.” Students will wear clothes from the ’50s, ’60s or ’70s.
Wednesday’s theme is “wacky tacky,” and students will wear clothes that are mismatched and crazy.
Thursday’s theme is “on the hunt for victory, beat the Yellow Jackets.” The children are encouraged to show their spirit and support the football team by wearing camouflage.
Friday is “pep up the Blue Tide to beat the Yellow Jackets” day, and students will wear school colors.
