Long non-partisans qualify for general elections

According to Long County Election Superintendent Marie Middleton, the following candidates have been qualified to run in the upcoming General Election.
On the Long County Board of Education, incumbent Billy Hall is unopposed in the 1st District/Beard's Creek area, however in the 2nd District, Rye Patch/Oak Dale, incumbent Chairman of the Board Dempsey Golden faces opposition from Cynthia Wells.
In the 3rd and 4th Districts, which represent the south and north areas of Ludowici, incumbents Florence Baggs and Linda Sasser DeLoach are unopposed.
In the 5th District, voters have three candidates to choose from - incumbent Emma Strickland and challengers Parker Dunham and Jason Allen.
On the State Court, incumbent Hon. Judge Richard Phillips is unopposed.
On the Probate Court, Cathy Stapleton will challenge incumbent Hon. Judge Marie Middleton.
The general election is Nov. 4.
